As soon as I saw this new cover of Gaga’s new single, I thought of Miss Grace Jones. After my long and hard research, I realized that the writing and look and feel were so similar. They say “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.” GRACE and GAGA united. Two of my favorite idols both with the same mission. They help liberate and are “BORN THIS WAY.”

This party is fun!! They are all here… Halston, Debbie Harry, Brooke, and Liza. This exhibit of Andy Warhol Polaroid of celebrities from the 70’s and 80’s is going on now at the DanzigerProjects in New York City in West Chelsea. The walls are filled with small white frames encasing these big people. Every shot is a wow. Most have been sold out before I even arrived. The demand is huge. Fame, fame, fame . Beauty, beauty, beauty. All captured by the game.

This is not new, but is still available on Saks.com. Run because this unique smelling cologne for MEN is not available many places at this point (and is definitely hard to find!). Every time I wear this fragrance, I get stopped by people asking me what is the name and telling me how great it smells. I guess I have had some “Close Encounters” recently. The bottle is also a “bottle in a bottle” a concept which Narcisco is known for. His WOMEN’s fragrances are also extremely unique and successful. Narciso is an extreme minimalist clothing designer with a great sense of Chic. Now try some on your neck and get stopped everywhere you roam. Who doesn’t like some attention?

Hurry and run to this exhibit of these wonderful architectural interiors and iconic landmarks. These clean and crisp photos are taken by Ezra Stoller. I have never heard of this man until I went into the Yossi Milo Gallery in West Chelsea. This show is up until Feb 12th. The subjects include the Guggenheim Museum, the TWA terminal, the Seagram Building, among others. The photos are modern with clean lines. These photos would enhance any decor and look so chic. These photos are on my wish list. Lots of form and texture. He is a pioneer in the field of architectural photography and many of his books are rare and out of print. Smooth operator ready to take off into this land of fresh and modern interiors.

Her Music, Her Art, Her Face, Her Hair, Her Cigarette, Her Voice. This is enough said about this creative genius. Joni Mitchell. Many other artists have been influenced and inspired by her in their own art. This group show at the Kathleen Cullen Gallery portrays many artist’s works spanning the world’s of Joni. Joni Mitchell is the subject. Works include painting, drawing, textile, photography and sculpture. Travel back to 1974 and start feeling the pavement of this paradise of art.

He is the man around town, a writer, director, and performer. You may know him as Kiki. For years, I used to go to see this mod- lounge act called “Kiki and Herb.” Last month I went to see “Christmas Spells” staring Justin Bond and The Pixie Harlots. What a creative flow! I will be on the look out in 2011 for any show or project that Justin is in. He sang a cover of a song by The Gossip who is one of my favorite bands. Justin, perhaps a James Bond girl next?

Colonia Essenza stopped my path as I strolled through Bergdorf Goodman. The shiny black bottle attracted me and then the smell. This became my new “holiday” scent. I wanted to feel mysterious, sleek and sexy for all the events surrounding the holiday season. The bottle alone puts me in the mood. This is a great present to give or get. Roll the dice and do it! Lady Stardust played guitar, but Lady Warhol played dress up! This oversized book of clean and crisp photos taken over a 3-day period shows many new looks from Warhol. Slight facial expressions and hand movements is what one should look for in these photos. This was a collaboration between Christopher Makos and Andy. This book is so fun and campy, that it may be the life of your party. Take a shot and put it on your coffee table and you will see some shock value!
