This small eatery is up beat and cool. Don’t get scared from their speciality…Goat! I tried it and it was rather tasty. Please PETA don’t throw paint!!

The word savings these days is almost extinct due to the economic crisis. Banks are a bad word. I tried a new game in town called “lucky five”. Every time you get a $5.00 bill, immediately your eyes should light up and put it in your other pocket. When you get home take out the bill(s), and put this in your ceramic bank of choice. A high spot on a shelve is a good idea so it does not tempt you. In a few months these lucky fives will add up to a splurge galore! Try it and be a piggly wiggly!!

Summer is coming and so is Mint Chocolate Chip! I know it is not good for the waist, but hey if tastes good every once in a while, go for it! This homemade Ice Cream joint cleverly named Sundaes and Cones is located at 95 E 10th St between 3rd and 4th Ave. is totally worth the trip. You will feel like Cape Cod has invaded The City. Their unique flavors are a plus, but for me it was all about the MCC(mint chocolate chip). I did not feel guilty!

Rock Opera Returns…do not listen to this CD one track at a time. It must be heard in its entirety. I even listened to this during a cardio session. It’s all about the whole. I love the name of this group. They have a vintage sound…what ever that means…and their music makes you feel like you have traveled back in time to a distant land. Although the story maybe a little disturbing and tragic at times, isn’t that what opera is all about?

Everyone knows this is the classic rock opera . The Who never sounded so good. Hearing this re-mastered version makes you understand why they are considered one of the greatest rock acts on earth. Remember to pay close attention to Keith Moon’s drumming. He is part of what made this band ROCK!. There is beauty in this music. Feel it, Hear it and See it!!

What is a better treat for yourself than flowers? Right now tulips are turning up everywhere…from street corners to gardens to high end florists, this flower is the must have this month. The colors and clean shape will turn any decor into a chic palace. Just cut the stems and leave all the greens and put in a simple vase with water. Do not mix with others, let the tulips stand alone. Their beauty is chic and simple. Just how I like it. Treat yourself and find the florist in you.

What ever happened to the One Word Model? Iman, Veruschka, Twiggy, Gisele, Naomi, Dovima, Kate. Are these names of the past? They are much easier to remember than the current slew of models i.e…Anna Jagodzinska, Natalia Vodianova, Liya Kebede, and Caroline Trentini. Yes these girls are gorgeous, but their names are certainly a mouthful! This Vogue cover is a great way to learn about these beautiful beauties, just don’t ask me to spell.

She’s coming back to Bravo. Get ready! As we all know, she is building her brand, and I had the pleasure of meeting the Zoe in person at a product meeting. She swooped in with the longest pair of faded bell bottoms I had ever seen.She was basically cleaning our showroom floor for the day. We joked about her not having the right shoe, but in my eyes ,she had the right look as usual. The 70’s glamour girl is what I dream of. When said to me that she “felt like we had met before”, I think she was telling me she approved. Instantly, I felt like we were high school chums. Her references of 70’s music made me shiver with excitement. I think we both might be from the same fox family!

Don’t laugh, she may sweep you up like a Hurricanne. This is the title of her comeback CD which is still only a import. She was always a European fave! I have been following Ms. Jones since the early 70’s where she was the disco diva, then she became the 80’s cropped hair power women. Image,image,image is always what “makes the man”, but Gracie has talent too….her music makes you wonder into a world of power, love, and magic. Keep the rhythm spinning!

Toasted Marshmallow Shakes! Stop right there! This is totally “bananas”! A Pot of Pickles! Get me out of here, I mean get me in here. This burger haven in Union Square is one of my favorite spots. Everything is amazing. This chic eatery plays some of the best music in town and everything here is great. You can not go wrong. I need to try a” take out” shake so I can go to marshmallow heaven again!
